                       The process of protecting steel against corrosion by hot dip zinc coating its surface, is realized with a technology that uses the phenomenon of diffusion. This phenomenon consists in the "penetration" of zinc atoms in the outer layer of steel, which creates a new surface alloy of iron with zinc.

 

                         Zinc is a durable material (resistant to oxidation). It's undeniable advantages are used in the fight against corrosion. Steel, hot-dip coated with protective layer of zinc, does not corrode as fast as steel with other methods.
